How to Apply
- Three years or more of professional business experience (No GMAT or GRE)
- Completed four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. A GPA of 3.0 or better is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Online application form
- Professional (not technical) résumé
- Personal essay (see below for more information)
- Three (3) professional letters of recommendation
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended/graduated from
- Tuition questionnaire
- Application fee
- A successful interview with Admissions Committee members
- OPTIONAL: Employer agreement (courtesy letter informing employer of your plans to enroll in a Global Leadership Program)
Apply to the Global Leadership MBA, MS Management Science or Global Marketing concentration by completing the program application.
- Choose “Executive Education” for the level.
- Choose “Naveen Jindal School of Management” for the school.
- Choose either Global Leadership MBA, MS Management Science, or Global Marketing concentration for program.
*If you do not have an unofficial transcript, please upload a word document indicating your university, degree, and undergraduate GPA.
- Send a copy of your professional résumé to glemba@utdallas.edu that demonstrates your relevant work experiences.
- Send a comprehensive personal essay to glemba@utdallas.edu that addresses the following:
- Your professional objectives, both long and short-term, and how your past experiences have contributed to the definition of those objectives.
- Why do you want to purse an MBA/MS at this point in your career?
- Why do you think the Global Leadership Program will serve you well?
- What can you contribute to class conversations, if accepted?
- In your application, provide names and emails of three (3) individuals who can speak to your professional growth potential. Colleagues or supervisors are recommended.
- One (1) recommender should be your immediate supervisor or the person who is most familiar with your performance.
- The three (3) individual recommenders should email their letters to glemba@utdallas.edu.
- Arrange for your official transcripts to be sent directly to the address below.

- Unless transcripts are electronic, they must be provided in a sealed envelope from every post-secondary academic institution you have attended.
- An undergraduate degree from a four-year accredited university or college with a grade point average of B or better (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) is required.
- The International Credentials Evaluators at The University of Texas at Dallas require official attested photocopy of transcripts/mark sheets and degree certificates/diplomas in their original language and in English in a sealed stamped envelope from the academic institution.
- UTD will not accept a consolidated mark sheet or any document not in a sealed envelope from the educational institution. If the educational institution does not provide an English version of the transcript, the applicant will need to obtain a certified translation of their transcript from an educational translation service and submit in a sealed envelope.
- Provide the employer agreement and sponsorship form to your immediate supervisor or appropriate company representative for review and signature.
- Also, check with your employer for any tuition reimbursement program that might be available.
- Email the forms to glemba@utdallas.edu.
- Submit the non-refundable application and processing fee in the amount of $100.
- Payable by check or money order to “The University of Texas at Dallas” or payable by credit card or e-check.

Once you have completed the application process, Rhonda Bush or Elizabeth McLean will schedule an interview with the admission’s committee.
- Financial Aid Application: If you wish to apply for a student loan, complete the financial aid application process. Contact Bill Mack for assistance at (972) 883-4114. Should you be ineligible for federal student aid, you may access alternative student loan information via the UT Dallas Financial Aid Office website.
- Mandatory Sexual Assault Prevention Training for New Students: Please see Letter from Student Wellness Center. If you have any questions, please contact the Student Wellness Center at 972-883-4275.
- Tuberculosis B Test: A TB test is required for applicants not born in the United States. Applicants who were born outside the United States are required to provide documentation of a current Tuberculosis (TB) Test within three months of starting courses. The regulations and the TB document are available at UTD TB Regulations. TB tests must be read within 48 -72 hours after the test is administered or it will not be accepted for approval. A TB test must be administered no longer than three (3) months prior to anticipated admission date. Applicants who do not submit this documentation will not be admitted.
