I was fortunate enough to discover and then enroll in the Product Lifecycle and Supply Chain Management Program at The University of Texas at Dallas. The program was extremely beneficial to me as it tied together the various stages of the product lifecycle with optimal supply chain solutions in order to create value through the chain; a must for anyone working in the CPG industry. Combined with the MBA curriculum, I found the program “connected the dots” specifically in the areas of finance and accounting. I enjoyed being on campus once a month, participating in lectures and working/learning in a highly collaborative environment!

As a military veteran who spent 7 years as an active duty Army officer, serving exclusively in light infantry units, I had a lot to learn as I transitioned to civilian life in June 2018. I undertook immense self-study and networking primarily via LinkedIn, but I ultimately knew that I would need to refine my business skills and prove myself. Earning an MBA was always something I was interested in, even while on active duty. However, after leaving the Army, that desire heightened immensely. I was fortunate to be accepted in to the UTD EMBA program and will be forever grateful.
